This Sailing trip will bring you from Vancouver to Port Hardy (or vice versa). The journey leads us along the Sunshine Coast and the name says it all: You may expect mild weather and a fresh breeze between 3-4Bt, generated by a thermal system. Depending on the route, a day or two north of Port Hardy up to Fitz Hugh Sound is possible. At night we will mainly anchor in bays and use the dinghy for excursions. Fishing is an option to vary the dinner.

Note: Canada’s West Coast has the largest biodiversity worldwide, but it is not a zoo! The observation of wildlife takes time and cannot be guaranteed. However, this area is the habitat for many whale species that travel during summer in the inlets and you may see a grizzly family grazing if you are lucky.
